| Thank you for the two best night’s sleep we’ve had in the past few years! I have a bad back which was aggravated by our previous mattress. The topper we bought is excellent! No more “frozen” back! Hooray! A great solution than a new doctor.

| People change their mattresses for all sorts of reasons, mine was the discovery of Sciatica (Sciatica refers to pain, weakness, numbness, or tingling in the leg. It is caused by injury to or compression of the sciatic nerve.) I had not been comfortable for a while due to my pain issues and just could not get a good night's sleep.
On having seen my chiropractor his advice for long term healing was to change the chair I sit in all day and the mattress I sleep in all night.
By the way I had a orthopedic spring mattress that I had for the last 15 years (Rakesh how often is the mattress supposed to be changed?)
The Chiropractor mentioned the traditional Orthopedic foam mattress and the current "Hot" product the "*Natural Latex Mattress".
*Having visited the Vitafoam show room (recommended by my chiropractor), we tried the traditional Orthopedic Foam mattress and it was way too hard, now the Natural Latex Mattress on the other hand was very comfortable.
For me the most important reason why we selected the natural latex mattress, is that it has a uniquely comfortable sleep surface.
Latex is both a very dense surface, but also because of its buoyant and elastic properties, still has a yielding, giving, and conforming quality. In addition, natural latex, is durable, resists packing down and forming body impressions.
Other secondary plus qualities of the Natural latex mattress for me were that it is hypo-allergenic, anti-bacterial, and anti-dust mite.
These organisms do not thrive in natural latex and with a family that suffer on and off from Asthma definitely a good reason to choose this mattress.
Very costly option however if you consider how much longer latex mattresses last compared to other mattress types, these quality mattresses will pay for themselves in the long run and my opinion is that one must always strive to live a good quality life.
One small down side was the strong odor that the mattress has can be quite unbearable and therefore I can strongly recommend that the mattress will need a short period of time to air out when first removed from its plastic bag.
Bottom line Natural latex just has a more comfortable feel.
